REPRESENT YOUR SCHOOL

A national event that includes the school community

Hip Hop International Trinidad and Tobago is reintroducing the school community into the national championships in 2027. The Top School in Trinidad and Tobago title will recognise excellence in hip hop dance by a team representing an educational institution and give students the opportunity to bring national recognition to their school.

School teams will be included in the national event. Eligible crews will also have the opportunity to qualify for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship through the applicable national qualification process. The school title provides additional recognition for the institution represented by the team.

Who the initiative is for?

The invitation extends to primary schools, secondary schools and tertiary institutions throughout Trinidad and Tobago, including government, government assisted and private institutions. Schools with an established dance programme, as well as institutions forming a team for the first time, are encouraged to participate.

School Representation

Each participating institution should authorise its entry and nominate a responsible school representative. This person will coordinate communication with the organizers, confirm student eligibility and help arrange permissions, supervision and event attendance.
